Artefact is a response to a brief set by HMV for my final year to create a bookstore that I’d love to spend time in. I chose to take a route based around what HMV has specialised in providing in for decades as a high street staple; the arts. The concept was a place where books related to art, design, film and music would be showcased and could be purchased - letting the books themselves take the centre stage and creating a space for people to enjoy them in.
