‘Stop Making Excuses’ is part of a personal response to a brief set in my second year of university. The idea behind it was to have comical messages on posters around London to get people to stop making excuses for themselves, as this was something, that at the time, I was frequently doing. Examples of these were ‘How’s that head? Thought you weren’t meant to be drinking last night. Stop Making Excuses.’ etc. The squiggly line through the ‘Stop Making Excuses’ is meant to represent putting an end to making excuses, and instead, being the best version of you that you can be.
